PayTrust.com/PayMyBills.com Consumer Alert - Paytrust has changed their pricing model from 30 payments a month free to understating that 30 transactions are free. That is to say that if you receive 15 bills and make 15 payments, the combination of the bills and payments account for 30 transactions. The net of this policy is that after 15 bills, a bill and payment will cost the consumer $1.00 per bill/payment and not 50 cents.

Consumer Alert - Check Free Corp. is the provider of bill payment services to USPS eBillPay. Our investigation has uncovered that eBillPay (USPS) is intentionally conveying their services as Bill Managers, but in reality is
acting as a Bill Broker.

We discovered that Check Free Corp. is actively converting bill payment to what they internally describe as Corporate Check method. With Corporate Checks, Check Free debits your checking account on the date the bill is due for payment and deposits the money in a Check Free checking account. The consumer's funds are in the possession of Check Free until the payment is posted by the biller and clears.
