Almost all financial institutions now offer their customers on-line access to account information. Some financial institutions offer account access, online payment capability, email payment reminders, balance transfers and promotions.

Besides having access to your account detail, the advantages to using the financial institution site to manage your finances is that you no longer have to give the US Post Office $.33, and you no longer have to pay your bank $10 for 200 checks, and you don't have to worry about the checks delayed in the mail and paying late payment fees.
